Well, this is strange?

I try to leave and I get 70 hits a day here, I change my mind to keep this one blog open and you all leave? WTF?
So now I'm all confused on what to do? Do I stay or do I go now? (so I ripped off that from a song big fucking deal, you've done it too)

So I am doing a lot off baking today I started by doing a yellow cake and another batch of mystery cookies and will finish it all of with an apple pie some time today. Ipods!!! Here we go AGAIN!!!!

Okay, for those of you who missed my posts on "Ken's blog" about the troubles with I pods.. well your out of luck (in less you go there and look them up) Okay, now a few months ago I was on my way to the bus stop to go see my mother (good son that I am)When I stopped to talk to a gentleman about some work. We got talking and before I knew it I had to RUN for the bus stop. Well in my haste I lost my ipod. I tried looking for it that night and the next day, but it was gone. So as I was heading through the mall I ran in to a friend who works there and we started talking. He heard my tale about my ipod and said one had been turned in. And low and behold it was mine!.... Two days later it went tits up ( I figured that it dropping off me while I was at a dead run might of had something to do with it). So I took it back, I had the extended warranty so it was no big deal. well a couple months go by and I get a new laptop, down load itunes on to it and plug my ipod in thinking it will clear my ipod and I will have to reload my songs.. No big deal. Well I didn't need to it worked just fine and dandy, Then today I wanted to add a few songs on to it and charge it up, no biggy right?...... WRONG!! IT SAID IT WAS FULLY CHARGED AND SO i WENT TO DISCONNECT IT AND BAM!!! Even unplugged for an hour it was still telling me it was plugged in to my pc. So off to best buy I go, I show them my information and ipod and the young lady just goes and grabs another one (red which should of gave it away to me I always wanted a red one but there 16 gig and out of my price range) And gives me a new warranty and out the door I go, its not in till I have loaded a ton off songs on it that I realise that it is in fact a 16 gig and not the 8 gig like I had. So I really can't take it back, its used right? Oh hell I don't care as much trouble as I have had with ipods (this is number 11) I'm keeping the damn thing best buy THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!

Freaks on the bus

So now we have had our bus system up and running for 2 years. And you get to see just how many FREAKS we have in the little town (75,000) of Bend Oregon. Every time I ride the bus I feel I need a shower! Now I worked for 4 1/2 years at a homeless shelter so I'm pretty use to most things but this getting out of hand. I have a contact buzz going on after every ride. And today there was they guy who likes to talk to the window, and the window was really funny today, I guess.

What do you mean "FREE?"

Okay you all have heard of "free checking" right?
Well if it's really "free checking" then how come we have to keep putting money in the bank to cover the checks we right? Free in deed.

Just a thought, and just so you know I have never written a bad check, this was just a thought I had.

WTF #5

Okay, I have 14 steps in my town house, I run up and down them all day long and have for 5 years ...no problem.

I'm over house/dog sitting for my nephew Taylor while he is throwing sticks at Elk and he has 2 steps.....(that I guess I can't walk down very well. I rolled my ankle. So for the next oh 4 to 6 weeks I will be a crip. 2 fucking steps......pisses me off!

A mile stone

3 thousand 3 hundred miles on my bike... I never thought I would own it long enough to put that many miles on it. I usually would of bought a new one a long time ago, but I love this bike!

A walk down memory lane

Okay well maybe its a long walk down memory lane but its still a walk (right?)

I went to my parents house today, which is nothing new of course. But while I was there I helped my mother make 2 of her award winning apple pies. I haven't been involved in the making of apple pies in like 35 to 40 years, but you know what I found out? I still love eating the left over pie crust doe when we are done..... That brought back so many old memory's of helping in the kitchen when I was a little younger. Plus I grabbed a few pointers on a few tricks in making said pies. All in all I came away with one of the best days I have had in a long time. And that's saying something!

I counted 15 of these little guys, that is the most I have ever seen in one family!

Lost and found

Well a few posts ago (may have been on my other blog) I told you about me losing my eye glasses two years ago, I had thought that they were lost in 2 feet of snow in the woods at my brothers place. Well they were at my brothers place, they were found in the couch in the little cabin I stay in while I'm there, Of course they are no good to me now, my eyes have gotten to the point that I need glasses all the time and they were just reading glasses. But at least I now where they are right now.....stuffed inside an old boot! (I think)

Whats up with Ken 6

Okay here is the deal, I just came home from mom and dads. I helped dad run wire for his new TV in the motor home, and got a rocker/recliner out of the deal.

Wednesday I will be heading over to my brothers to help him with his major over haul of his log cabin. But first we will be making a fishing trip (IT IS HIS BIRTHDAY ON WEDNESDAYS AND MINE ON THURSDAY) We try to do something together every year at this time even though we are 3 years apart (and one day). I will be at his place for who knows how long could be two weeks. I will try to sneak a post in every so often if I can!

I'm a fucking IDIOT!

I have owned my camera for like a year and a half. I love the damn thing and use it all the time. But I have never been able to use the view finder, I have looked in the manual, online and on the disc, Nothing! So today I'm looking at the damn thing and see this little button that says EVF/LCD. I wonder what that means? I push the button.....nothing happens....Oh maybe I should turn the damn thing on! So I do and try it again and what do ya know..WHA LA! Now I'm the smartest idiot on the planet!

Strange but true

Back in 1999 I broke (well crushed) my left thumb. I ripped the nail out by the root. And when it heeled the right side of the nail never re-attached to my thumb. It was always a pain I could never keep the damn thing clean, I know it sounds strange but its true. And today I go to look at it as I was cleaning my nails and low and behold it is attached and looks normal? WHEN IN THE HELL DID THIS HAPPEN?

Okay so I'm an ass hole, at least I'm good at it!

So here is why I say I'm an asshole. 1. I have had stuff in my garage for over 4 years that belonged to the homeless shelter I worked for. While they were across the street from me they never offered to compensate me for it taking up the space in my garage. When they moved in July of 2007 to a new location They said that would remove all there things. And they kept saying this for the next year. When I was laid off in July of 2008, I asked that all there things be removed. And they said we will have it all out by the end of the week. Now they did come and take the things they wanted but left a bunch of other CRAP and said they would be back to get it. Okay here we are its March of 2009 and I still have there crap in there and I want to set my shop up. I'm pissed and send the president of the board of directors a bill for $700.00 And tell him to come get there crap. Now once again they have said they will get it........... but have failed to mention payment! This will not stand I am an asshole and it runs in my family so it come natural to me and I'm pretty good at it! We shall see what happens with my next email.

Now for #2. I'm out riding my bike on some trails today and I am coming up on a lady walking her dog without a leash. I let her know I'm coming but since her dog is loose she can't hold him/her. It of course moves out in front of me and I hit the brakes hard and miss the dog by that much! While I am stopped I thought it would be a good time to inform her just how stupid she is. I tell her "they have a leash law here and your dog should be on one" She replies "my dog wont hurt anyone" ............ HELLO! So I reply "Lady how about this" I am riding my bike and your dog steps out in front of me" " I hit the dog doing 20mph" I fall and break my arm and crack my head open, my bike is a mess" Then I would sew you for all damages and a little for my pain and suffering" Then to top it all off I hit your dog doing 20mph with a 2" tire and 200lbs. Your dogs back is broken and has to be put down". Or you could put your fucking dog on a leash and we can all enjoy this lovely day? what would you think was a better way to go?"

She just looked at me like I had just shot her husband or something, bent down and put the leash she had in her pocket on the dog and walked away........ What a BITCH!

Oh I feel so much better now!

Less is more right?

That's right, its the bad boy in me coming out.....NOT! This is about less is more as it says in the title. Okay, 2 weeks ago I went to get my eyes checked. I knew I needed glasses that is old news, I had them before for reading and lost them. But the were having a sale and I was having trouble with reading so I went in. They gave me my Rx and I got a pair of reading glasses (bi folds) Then I started noticing that when I was in a store or looking in the distance it wasn't so Sharp anymore? So last night I was watching a movie (Transporter 3) and was again having trouble. So I put my bi folds on and BAMB always clear? I took them of and it went fuzzy again? Hummmm how can just plain glass do this I wondered? So I pull out the script the doc gave me and low and behold my left eye had gone south.... WAY south. So my reading glasses were not just reading glasses, but also straight out seeing glasses. How could I not know this? So I thought the doc had not told me, if he had it would of changed the glasses I bought by a bunch. So I started to get made, but I also started to think back to that day, and then I remembered something he had said. He had said something like "You will be able to read much better now and you will need them to drive do to the left eye". Why that did not stick in my head I think is because I don't drive and when he said that I was thinking no big deal I don't drive who cares. See now if he would of said "You will also be able to see you fool" Then I would of listened. So I went in to Binyons today with my Rx to see about getting a pair of glasses that I could wear just to see, ones without the bifocals. I thought I would get transition lenses, for sun light really bugs my eyes. It was cheaper (by a lot) to get two pair of glasses one for when I'm in doors and one for outdoors. So I now have 3 pair of glasses instead of just one pair because I didn't pay attention. But I still got all three for less than I would of gotten 1 pair of no line, transition lenses.
So I spent less and got more. But I will have to carry 3 pair of glasses with me in till I can get the ones I want. That should be sometime in the 22nd century!

WTF 3

HURRY, HURRY GET YOUR NEW DIGITAL TV NOW!

We all heard this right? So I went out and bought a new TV it is a 26" with built in DVD player. Not the best on the market but hey I needed a TV so what the hey?

Well I have had it for 1 month and a week. And love the picture and sound and all, but....... Last night I wanted to watch a movie and tried to slide one in to the player. It wouldn't go in? I looked and it said there was a dvd already in? I hit the eject button......... Nothing?. I checked the dvd case of the last movie I watched and it was in there! So I am going to be taking this POS back to BEST BUY and telling them in the calmest way I can..... Okay I will tell them to shove this piece of crap up there ass and give me a new one. Let me tell you the rest of the story.... When I bought this tv they gave me it and I took it home... (like you couldn't figure that out?) Opened it up and there was no power cord, no remote, no owners manual! I take it back only to find that they had given me a tv that had been returned once already!. So I am just a little PISSED OFF at them right now! We will see what happens, I just hope I don't have another story on this to post tonight!
